This course, Design Thinking for Leading and Learning will help us explore questions that result from the changing future of schooling and learning and more.
- How do we prepare PK-12 students to be as successful as possible in a future that requires creativity, problem-solving and communication?
- How do we enable passionate school leaders to re-envision the role of schools in preparing kids for the future?
The course is organized into three sections that combine design thinking content with real-world education examples, as well as opportunities for learners to apply concepts in their own setting. We’ll also describe design thinking in practical terms and explore tips for design process. We will present the first four lessons in video content while the last lesson will be presented in written content. Your knowledge will be assessed after each lesson to evaluate your understanding.
